John7:28-32
Verſe 28. Ye both know me] Either this is an Ironie, or elſe a heavy aggravation of their ſin; a proofe that they ſinned that ſin unto death, 1 Ioh. 5.16. for which there remains no more ſacrifice, Heb. 10.26. Two ſorts of men in our times are in danger of this ſin. 1. Hypocriticall profeſſours. 2. Thoſe they call the Wits of the world, your moſt knowing men.
