Ver. 13. They took the young men to grind] i. e. To do any baſe and abject buſineſſe, Exod. 11.5. & 12.29. Fruſtra enim hic Hieronymus & alii Sodomiticum quid cogitant.
And the children fell under the wood] Being not able to ſtand under ſuch unreaſonable burthens as were laid upon their backs.
