Verse 14. In the power of the Spirit] Without which the word is preached to no purpose. Cathedram in caelo habet, qui corda docer, saith Augustine. It is with the word and spirit, as with the veines and arteries; as the veines carry the bloud, so the arteries carry the spirits to quicken the bloud.
