Verse 13. And calleth unto him whom he would] Nec volentis, nec volantis, sed Dei miserantis, as a Nobleman, after Paul, gave it for his Motto. It is not in him that willeth nor in him that runneth, though he run as fast as a bird can flie: but in God that sheweth mercy.
