Matthew26:52
Verse 52. Put up again thy sword] See the Notes on Iohn 18. 11. For all they that take the sword] Without a just calling, [illegible: 1 word] those sworn sword-men of the devil the Jesuites, whose faction (as one saith of them) is a most agile sharp sword; the blade whereof is sheathed at pleasure, in the bowels of every Common-wealth, but the handle reacheth to Rome and Spaine: Their design is to subdue all to the Pope, and the Pope to themselves.
