Verſ. 24. Becauſe I have called, and yee refuſed] If any ask, why did God ſuffer them to refuſe, and not make them yeeld? I anſwer with Auguſtin, Doctiorem quarat, qui hanc quaeſtionem ei explicet. Let him look one that can tell him, for I cannot.
