Proverbs2:9

Verſ. 9. Then ſhalt thou underſtand righteouſneſs] Not as cognoſcitiva ſtanding in ſpeculation; But as directiva vitae, a rule of life. Knowledge is either Apprehenſive onely, or Affective alſo. This differs from that, as much as the light of the Sun (wherein is the influence of an inlivening power) from the light of Torches.
