Proverbs20:5

Verſ. 5. Counſel in the heart of a man is like deep water] See Chap. 18.4. As the red Roſe, though outwardly not ſo fragrant, is inwardly far more cordial than the Damask, being more thrifty of its ſweetneſs, and reſerving it in it ſelf: So it is with many good Chriſtians.

But a man of underſtanding will draw it out] And ſurely this is a fine skill to bee able to pierce a man that is like a veſſel full of wine, and to ſet him a running.
