Verſ. 22. Her clothing is ſilk and purple] Suitable to her Husbands condition, who is a principal man,Lib. de cultu foem. verſ. 23. That's excellent counſel that Tertullian gives Women, Vestite vos ſerico pietatis, byſſino ſanctitatis, purpurâ pudicitia. Cloath your ſelves with the ſilk of piety, with the ſattin of ſanctity, with the purple of modeſty, &c.
