Verſ. 20. He ſent his word and bealed them] He commanded deliverance, and it was done; unleſs there be an alluſion to the eſſential Word, who was afterwards to take fleſh, and to heal the diſeaſed.

And delivered them from their deſtructions] Heb. From their corrupting-pits or graves, which do now even gape for them. And he calleth them theirs, quia per peccatum faderunt eas. ſaith Kimchi, becauſe by their ſin themſelves have digged them.
