Psalms130:2
Verſ. 2 Lord hear my voice.] Precum exauditie identidem eſt precanda. Audience muſt be begged again and again; and if hee once prepare our heart, tis ſure that hee will cauſe his ear to hear, Pſal. 10.17. as when wee bid our Children ask this or that of us, it is becauſe wee mean to give it them.
