Psalms7:17
Verſ. 17. I will praiſe the Lord according to his righteouſneſs] i.e. His faithfulneſs in keeping promiſe with his people, and with my ſelf in particular. I will ſay to his honour, as Deut. 32.4. A God of truth, and without iniquity, juſt and right is he. And will ſing praiſe to the name, &c.] Where the Pſalmiſt mentioneth the overthrow of the wicked. Laus praecedit & ſequitur (ſaith R. Joſhua Ben Levi here) as in this place, and Pſalm 9.
