Psalms78:20

Verſ. 20. Behold he ſmote the Rock, &c.] And ſo ſhewed his power; we cannot deny it; but now for his will.

Can he give bread alſo, &c.?] They ſhould have ſaid, will he ſerve our luſts? but that they were aſhamed to ſay.

Can he provide fleſh for his people?] i. e. Dainty and delicate fleſh, ſuch as is that of Quailes, meat for a King; for they carryed their cattle out of Egypt with them; and ſo they could not be without ordinary fleſh, too good for ſuch unthankful miſcreants.
