Verſ. 42. They remembred not his hand] Forgetfulneſs is the root of rebellion and of all vice,Seneca. as the Genevists well note here. Eaten bread is ſoon forgotten, Nihil citius ſeneſcit quam gratia.
Nor the day when he delivered them] viz. From Pharaoh, but ſo ſoon as they had ſucked the Honey, they deſpiſed the flower.
