Verſe 17. Shall [illegible: 1 letter]eed them and lead them] An alluſion to Pſal. 23.2. where David ſeems to reſemble powerfull and flouriſhing doctrine to green paſtures, and the ſecret and ſweet comforts of the Sacraments to the [illegible: 1 word] waters.
And G[illegible: 1 letter]d ſhall Wipe away] A metaphor from a nurſe, which not only ſuckleth her dear childe crying for hunger, but alſo wipes off the tears.
