Verſe 27. Where is boasting then, &c.] A certain ſophiſter would hence prove the authority of the Church: He read the words thus, by a miſtake of their ſhort-hand-writing, Ʋbi eſt gloriatio[illegible: 1 letter]? Eccleſia eſt, for excluſa eſt.
