Question 24
What is sin?
Sin is any want of conformity unto, or transgression of, any law of God, given as a rule to the reasonable creature.

1 John 3:44Everyone who practices sin practices lawlessness as well. Indeed, sin is lawlessness.
Galatians 3:1010All who rely on works of the law are under a curse. For it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.”
Galatians 3:1212The law, however, is not based on faith; on the contrary, “The man who does these things will live by them.”
