1 Chronicles 2

1 Ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ· Ῥουβὴν, Συμεὼν, Λευὶ, Ἰούδα, Ἰσσάχαρ, Ζαβουλὼν,

2 Δὰν, Ἰωσὴφ, Βενιαμὶν, Νεφθαλὶ, Γὰδ, Ἀσήρ.

3 Υἱοὶ Ἰούδα, Ἢρ, Αὐνὰν, Σηλώμ· τρεῖς ἐγεννήθησαν αὐτῷ ἐκ τῆς θυγατρὸς Σαύας τῆς Χανανίτιδος· καὶ ἦν Ἢρ ὁ πρωτότοκος Ἰούδα πονηρὸς ἐναντίον Κυρίου, καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν αὐτόν·

4 Καὶ Θάμαρ ἡ νύμφη αὐτοῦ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Φαρὲς, καὶ τὸν Ζαρα· πάντες υἱοὶ Ἰούδα πέντε.

5 Υἱοὶ Φαρὲς, Ἐσρὼμ, καὶ Ἰεμουήλ.

6 Καὶ υἱοὶ Ζαρὰ, Ζαμβρὶ, καὶ Αἰθὰμ, καὶ Αἰμουὰν, καὶ Καλχὰλ, καὶ Δαρὰδ, πάντες πέντε.

7 Καὶ υἱοὶ Χαρμὶ, Ἀχὰρ ὁ ἐμποδοστάτης Ἰσραὴλ, ὃς ἠθέτησεν εἰς τὸ ἀνάθεμα.

8 Καὶ υἱοὶ Αἰθὰμ, Ἀζαρίας.

9 Καὶ υἱοὶ Ἐσρὼμ οἳ ἐτέχθησαν αὐτῷ, ὁ Ἱεραμεὴλ, καὶ ὁ Ἀρὰμ, καὶ ὁ Χαλέβ.

10 Καὶ Ἀρὰμ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἀμιναδὰβ, καὶ Ἀμιναδὰβ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ναασσὼν ἄρχοντα οἴκου Ἰούδα,

11 καὶ Ναασσὼν ἐγέννησε τὸν Σαλμὼν, καὶ Σαλμὼν ἐγέννησε τὸν Βοὸζ,

12 καὶ Βοὸζ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ὠβὴδ, καὶ Ὠβὴδ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἰεσσαὶ,

13 καὶ Ἰεσσαὶ ἐγέννησε τὸν πρωτότοκον αὐτοῦ τὸν Ἐλιὰβ, Ἀμιναδὰβ ὁ δεύτερος, Σαμαὰ ὁ τρίτος,

14 Ναθαναὴλ ὁ τέταρτος, Ζαβδαῒ ὁ πέμπτος,

15 Ἀσὰμ ὁ ἕκτος, Δαυὶδ ὁ ἕβδομος.

16 Καὶ ἡ ἀδελφὴ αὐτῶν Σαρουία, καὶ Ἀβιγαία· καὶ υἱοὶ Σαρουία, Ἀβισὰ, καὶ Ἰωὰβ, καὶ Ἀσαὴλ, τρεῖς.

17 Καὶ Ἀβειγαία ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἀμεσσάβ· καὶ πατὴρ Ἀμεσσὰβ Ἰοθὸρ ὁ Ἰσμαηλίτης.

18 Καὶ Χαλὲβ υἱὸς Ἐσρὼμ ἔλαβε τὴν Γαζουβὰ γυναῖκα, καὶ τὴν Ἰεριώθ· καὶ οὗτοι υἱοὶ αὐτῆς, Ἰασὰρ, καὶ Σουβὰβ, καὶ Ἀρδών.

19 Καὶ ἀπέθανε Γαζουβὰ, καὶ ἔλαβεν ἑαυτῷ Χαλὲβ τὴν Ἐφρὰθ, καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Ὥρ.

20 Καὶ Ὣρ ἐγέννησε τὸν Οὐρί· καὶ Οὐρὶ ἐγέννησε τὸν Βεσελεήλ.

21 Καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα εἰσῆλθεν Ἐσρὼν πρὸς τὴν θυγατέρα Μαχὶρ πατρὸς Γαλαὰδ, καὶ αὐτὸς ἔλαβεν αὐτὴν, καὶ αὐτὸς ἑξηκονταπέντε ἐτῶν ἦν· καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Σερούχ.

22 Καὶ Σεροὺχ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἰαΐρ. καὶ ἦσαν αὐτῷ εἴκοσι καὶ τρεῖς πόλεις ἐν τῇ Γαλαάδ.

23 Καὶ ἔλαβε Γεδσοὺρ καὶ Ἀρὰμ τὰς κώμας Ἰαῒρ ἐξ αὐτῶν, τὴν Κανὰθ καὶ τὰς κώμας αὐτῆς, ἑξήκοντα πόλεις· πᾶσαι αὗται υἱῶν Μαχὶρ πατρὸς Γαλαάδ.

24 Καὶ μετὰ τὸ ἀποθανεῖν Ἐσρὼν, ἦλθε Χαλὲβ εἰς Ἐφραθά· καὶ ἡ γυνὴ Ἐσρὼν Ἀβιά· καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Ἀσχὼ πατέρα Θεκωέ.

25 καὶ ἦσαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἱεραμεὴλ πρωτοτόκου Ἐσρὼν, ὁ πρωτότοκος Ῥὰμ, καὶ Βαναὰ, καὶ Ἀρὰμ, καὶ Ἀσὰν ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ.

26 Καὶ ἦν γυνὴ ἑτέρα τῷ Ἱεραμεὴλ, καὶ ὄνομα αὐτῇ Ἀτάρα· αὕτη ἐστὶ μήτηρ Ὀζόμ.

27 Καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ Ῥὰμ πρωτοτόκου Ἱεραμεὴλ, Μαὰς, καὶ Ἰαμὶν, καὶ Ἀκόρ.

28 Καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ Ὀζὸμ, Σαμαῒ, καὶ Ἰαδαέ· καὶ υἱοὶ Σαμαῒ, Ναδὰβ καὶ Ἀβισούρ.

29 Καὶ ὄνομα τῆς γυναικὸς Ἀβισοὺρ, Ἀβιχαία· καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Ἀχαβὰρ, καὶ τὸν Μωήλ.

30 Καὶ υἱοὶ Ναδὰβ, Σαλὰδ, καὶ Ἀπφαίν· καὶ ἀπέθανε Σαλὰδ οὐκ ἔχων τέκνα.

31 Καὶ υἱοὶ Ἀπφαὶν, Ἰσεμιήλ· καὶ υἱοὶ Ἰσεμιὴλ, Σωσάν· καὶ υἱοὶ Σωσὰν, Δαδαί.

32 Καὶ υἱοὶ Δαδαὶ, Ἀχισαμὰς, Ἰεθὲρ, Ἰωνάθαν· καὶ ἀπέθανεν Ἰεθὲρ οὐκ ἔχων τέκνα.

33 Καὶ υἱοὶ Ἰωνάθαν, Φαλὲθ, καὶ Ὁζάμ· οὗτοι ἦσαν υἱοὶ Ἱεραμεήλ.

34 Καὶ οὐκ ἦσαν τῷ Σωσὰν υἱοὶ, ἀλλʼ ἢ θυγατέρες· καὶ τῷ Σωσὰν παῖς Αἰγύπτιος, καὶ ὄνομα αὐτῷ Ἰωχήλ.

35 Καὶ ἔδωκε Σωσὰν τὴν θυγατέρα αὐτοῦ τῷ Ἰωχὴλ παιδὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς γυναῖκα, καὶ ἔτεκεν αὐτῷ τὸν Ἐθὶ,

36 καὶ Ἐθὶ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ναθὰν, καὶ Ναθὰν ἐγέννησε τὸν Ζαβὲδ,

37 καὶ Ζαβὲδ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἀφαμὴλ, καὶ Ἀφαμὴλ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ὠβὴδ,

38 καὶ Ὠβὴδ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἰηοὺ, καὶ Ἰηοὺ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἀζαρίαν,

39 καὶ Ἀζαρίας ἐγέννησε τὸν Χελλὴς, καὶ Χελλὴς ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἐλεασὰ,

40 καὶ Ἐλεασὰ ἐγέννησε τὸν Σοσομαῒ, καὶ Σοσομαῒ ἐγέννησε τὸν Σαλοὺμ,

41 καὶ Σαλοὺμ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἰεχεμίαν, καὶ Ἰεχεμίας ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἐλισαμὰ, καὶ Ἐλισαμὰ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἰσμαήλ.

42 Καὶ υἱοὶ Χαλὲβ ἀδελφοῦ Ἱεραμεὴλ, Μαρισὰ ὁ πρωτότοκος αὐτοῦ· οὗτος πατὴρ Ζίφ· καὶ υἱοὶ Μαρισὰ πατρὸς Χεβρών.

43 Καὶ υἱοὶ Χεβρὼν, Κορὲ, καὶ Θαπφοὺς, καὶ Ῥεκὸμ, καὶ Σαμαά.

44 Καὶ Σαμαὰ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ῥαὲμ πατέρα Ἰεκλὰν, καὶ Ἰεκλὰν ἐγέννησε τὸν Σαμαΐ.

45 Καὶ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Μαών· καὶ Μαὼν πατὴρ Βαιθσούρ.

46 Καὶ Γαιφὰ ἡ παλλακὴ Χαλὲβ ἐγέννησε τὸν Ἀρὰμ, καὶ τὸν Μοσὰ, καὶ τὸν Γεζουέ.

47 Καὶ υἱοὶ Ἀδδαῒ, Ῥαγὲμ, καὶ Ἰωάθαμ, καὶ Σωγὰρ, καὶ Φαλὲκ, καὶ Γαιφὰ, καὶ Σαγαέ.

48 Καὶ ἡ παλλακὴ Χαλὲβ Μωχὰ ἐγέννησε τὸν Σαβὲρ, καὶ τὸν Θαράμ.

49 Καὶ ἐγέννησε Σαγαὲ πατέρα Μαδμηνὰ, καὶ τὸν Σαοὺ πατέρα Μαχαβηνὰ, καὶ πατέρα Γαιβάλ· καὶ θυγάτηρ Χαλὲβ, Ἀσχά.

50 Οὗτοι ἦσαν υἱοὶ Χαλέβ· υἱοὶ Ὢρ πρωτοτόκου Ἐφραθά· Σωβὰλ πατὴρ Καριαθιαρὶμ,

51 Σαλωμὼν πατὴρ Βαιθὰ, Λαμμὼν πατὴρ Βαιθαλαὲμ, καὶ Ἀρὶμ πατὴρ Βεθγεδώρ.

52 Καὶ ἦσαν υἱοὶ τῷ Σωβὰλ πατρὶ Καριαθιαρὶμ Ἀραὰ, καὶ Αἰσὶ, καὶ Ἀμμανὶθ,

53 καὶ Οὐμασφαὲ, πόλεις Ἰαῒρ, Αἰθαλὶμ, καὶ Μιφιθὶμ, καὶ Ἡσαμαθὶμ, καὶ Ἡμασαραΐμ· ἐκ τούτων ἐξήλθοσαν οἱ Σαραθαῖοι, καὶ υἱοὶ Ἐσθαάμ.

54 Υἱοὶ Σαλωμὼν Βαιθαλαὲμ, ὁ Νετωφατὶ, Ἀταρὼθ οἴκου Ἰωὰβ, καὶ ἥμισυ τῆς Μαλαθὶ, Ἠσαρὶ·

55 Πατριαὶ γραμματέων κατοικοῦντες ἐν Ἰάβις Θαργαθιῒμ, καὶ Σαμαθιῒμ, καὶ Σωχαθίμ· οὗτοι οἱ Κιναῖοι οἱ ἐλθόντες ἐξ Αἱμὰθ πατρὸς οἴκου Ῥηχάβ.

1 These are the names of the sons of Israel;

2 Ruben, Symeon, Levi, Juda, Issachar, Zabulon, Dan, Joseph, Benjamin, Nephthali, Gad, Aser.

3 The sons of Juda; Er, Aunan, Selom. These three were born to him of the daughter of Sava the Chananitish woman: and Er, the first-born of Juda, was wicked before the Lord, and he slew him.

4 And Thamar his daughter-in-law bore to him Phares, and Zara: all the sons of Juda were five.

5 The sons of Phares, Esrom, and Jemuel.

6 And the sons of Zara, Zambri, and Ætham, and Æmuan, and Calchal, and Darad, in all five.

7 And the sons of Charmi; Achar the troubler of Israel, who was disobedient in the accursed thing.

8 And the sons of Ætham; Azarias,

9 and the sons of Esrom who were born to him; Jerameel, and Aram, and Chaleb.

10 And Aram begot Aminadab, and Aminadab begot Naasson, chief of the house of Juda.

11 And Naasson begot Salmon, and Salmon begot Booz,

12 and Booz begot Obed, and Obed begot Jessæ.

13 And Jessæ begot his first-born Eliab, Aminadab was the second, Samaa the third,

14 Nathanael the fourth, Zabdai the fifth,

15 Asam the sixth, David the seventh.

16 And their sister was Saruia, and another Abigaia: and the sons of Saruia were Abisa, and Joab, and Asael, three.

17 And Abigaia bore Amessab: and the father of Amessab was Jothor the Ismaelite.

18 And Chaleb the son of Esrom took Gazuba to wife, and Jerioth: and these were her sons; Jasar, and Subab, and Ardon.

19 And Gazuba died; and Chaleb took to himself Ephrath, and she bore to him Or.

20 And Or begot Uri, and Uri begot Beseleel.

21 And after this Esron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Galaad, and he took her when he was sixty-five years old; and she bore him Seruch.

22 And Seruch begot Jair, and he had twenty-three cities in Galaad.

23 And he took Gedsur and Aram, the towns of Jair from them; with Canath and its towns, sixty cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Galaad.

24 And after the death of Esron, Chaleb came to Ephratha; and the wife of Esron was Abia; and she bore him Ascho the father of Thecoe.

25 And the sons of Jerameel the first-born of Esron were , the first-born Ram, and Banaa, and Aram, and Asan his brother.

26 And Jerameel had another wife, and her name was Atara: she is the mother of Ozom.

27 And the sons of Ram the first-born of Jerameel were Maas, and Jamin, and Acor.

28 And the sons of Ozom were, Samai, and Jadae: and the sons of Samai; Nadab, and Abisur.

29 And the name of the wife of Abisur was Abichaia, and she bore him Achabar, and Moel.

30 And the sons of Nadab; Salad and Apphain; and Salad died without children.

31 And the sons of Apphain, Isemiel; and the sons of Isemiel, Sosan; and the sons of Sosan, Dadai.

32 And the sons of Dadai, Achisamas, Jether, Jonathan: and Jether died childless.

33 And the sons of Jonathan; Phaleth, and Hozam. These were the sons of Jerameel.

34 And Sosan had no sons, but daughters. And Sosan had an Egyptian servant, and his name was Jochel.

35 And Sosan gave his daughter to Jochel his servant to wife; and she bore him Ethi.

36 And Ethi begot Nathan, and Nathan begot Zabed,

37 and Zabed begot Aphamel, and Aphamel begot Obed.

38 And Obed begot Jeu, and Jeu begot Azarias,

39 and Azarias begot Chelles, and Chelles begot Eleasa,

40 and Eleasa begot Sosomai, and Sosomai begot Salum,

41 and Salum begot Jechemias, and Jechemias begot Elisama, and Elisama begot Ismael.

42 And the sons of Chaleb the brother of Jerameel were , Marisa his first-born, he is the father of Ziph:—and the sons of Marisa the father of Chebron.

43 And the sons of Chebron; Core, and Thapphus, and Recom, and Samaa.

44 And Samaa begot Raem the father of Jeclan: and Jeclan begot Samai.

45 And his son was Maon: and Maon is the father of Bæthsur.

46 And Gæpha the concubine of Chaleb bore Aram, and Mosa, and Gezue.

47 And the sons of Addai were Ragem, and Joatham, and Sogar, and Phalec, and Gæpha, and Sagae.

48 And Chaleb's concubine Mocha bore Saber, and Tharam.

49 She bore also Sagae the father of Madmena, and Sau the father of Machabena, and the father of Gæbal: and the daughter of Chaleb was Ascha.

50 These were the sons of Chaleb: the sons of Or the first-born of Ephratha; Sobal the father of Cariathiarim,

51 Salomon the father of Bætha, Lammon the father of Bæthalaem, and Arim the father of Bethgedor.

52 And the sons of Sobal the father of Cariathiarim were Araa, and Æsi, and Ammanith,

53 and Umasphaë, cities of Jair; Æthalim, and Miphithim, and Hesamathim, and Hemasaraim; from these went forth the Sarathæans, and the sons of Esthaam.

54 The sons of Salomon; Bæthalaem, the Netophathite, Ataroth of the house of Joab, and half of the family of Malathi, Esari.

55 The families of the scribes dwelling in Jabis; Thargathiim, and Samathiim, and Sochathim, these are the Kinæans that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.
