29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Either out of this Countrey, or out of this Life.
So false Teachers and Persecutors are called, the one destroying the body, the other the soul. In this the Metaphor is persisted in, the Disciples of Christ being as Sheep or Lambs; their Enemies are by our Saviour himself called Wolves, Matth. 7.15.
