Genesis4:20
20. And Adah bare Iubal: He was the Father of such as dwell in Tents , and of such as have Cattle .
He taught Shepherds to dwell in Tents, and to remove them from place to place, for conveniency of Pasture. The first Authors or Inventers of any thing are commonly called its Fathers.
Heb. And of Cattle, i. e. The Inventor of the art of keeping and managing Cattle.
