Ver. 18. They have not known nor underſtood] How ſhould they (ſay) when infatuated and given up to an injudicious mind, or reprobate ſenſe? as thoſe, Rom. 1.28.
For he hath ſhut their eyes] Heb. danbed up their eyes from ſeeing, their hearts from underſtanding.
Mens oblita Dei, vitiorúmque oblita coeno.
