Isaiah44:21
Ver. 21. Remember theſe O Jacob and Iſrael] i. e. Remember theſe abominable Idolaters, and enjoy their madneſs: learn wiſdome by their folly.
Thou ſhalt not be forgotten of me] Or, forget me not, as ſome render it. Scultetus addeth that whereas many ſacred ſentences are written upon our walls, this ought to be written upon our hearts, O Iſrael forget me not.
