Verse 42. And when he was twelve yeares old] What he did from his infancy hitherto, the Scripture is silent: Papists faine many idle relations, and thereby expose us to the jeares of Jewish and Turkish miscreants. Where the Scripture hath no tongue, we must have no eares.
